4. 1960 Corvair TV Commercial

Description: LikeTelevision™ proudly presents - a classic 1960 Chevy Corvair Infommercial - that seems to directly address Ralph Nader's objections in his book, Unsafe at Any Speed. If you do not know the history - the Chevy Corvair was a super cool car.... that got crushed because of concerns raised in Nader's book. For its day - the car was really no less safe than the rest of the lot, especially after the modifications to reduce rollovers. None of this mattered - the car was doomed commercially. Too bad - it was a really cool car.

Description: The LikeTelevision™ Classic TV channel proudly presents another terrific episode from the Nelson Family called Kris play Cupid. Kris Nelson is Ricky's wife, on the show and in real life and she tries to help some friends move quicker into marriage but the paln backfires. If you think Kris looks a lot like Tracy Nelson, the nun from Father Dowling Mysteries with Tom Bosley (a.k.a. Richie Cunningham's dad on Happy Days), well she should. She is Tracy's mom. The eyes give it away. She is also the mom of Matthew and Gunnar Nelson from the band - Nelson, which had a #1 hit called (I can't live without your) love and Affection. You can check out Rick Nelson singing a cool song, and special music arranged by Jimmie Haskell, in part 3 of this episode. Also of note - James Burton plays guitar with Ricky's band for this show and on bass, John Hartford, who was part of the O Brother Where Art Thou team of bluegrass songwriters that just cleaned up at the 2002 Grammy Awards. Plus - some pretty hilarious commercials - my favorite is for Palmolive Gold soap, where stinky people are advised - Don't wait to be told - you need Palmolive Gold.

9. Amos and Andy - Check and Double Check

Description: It is with some hesitation... that LikeTelevision™ presents this Amos and Andy classic film - Check and Double Check. There are some high points in the film that make it more interesting from a historical perspective. It was made in 1930 and is Amos and Andy's first talkie. There's even a part that features Duke Ellington and His Cotten Club Orchestra. Oddly enough, Animator extraordinaire Seymour Kneitel (of Popeye and Casper fame).... made a cartoon with a catchy title - Chick and Double Chick. Hmmm that sounds like an interesting cartoon!

Bardot plays a young orphan who like to sun tan naked - so she has to marry someone, otherwise she will be shipped back to the orphanage. Ok - who really needs a plot. Also of interest - Director Roger Vadim was married to Bardot during this film, which made Bardot a huge star. 13. Angels Hard As They Come

Description: LikeTelevision's movie channel proudly presents -Angels Hard As They Come, a classic biker movie. Warning: This film contains some gratuitous nudity, drugs and foul language, like most biker films. Demme is best known for directing Philadelphia with Tom Hanks and Silence of the Lambs starring Jodie Foster as Clarice Starling and Anthony Hopkins as Dr. Hannibal Lecter. But here's a little factiod tie-in - Scott Glenn, the hero Long John in Angels Hard As They Come played Clarice's boss, Jack Crawford and Roger Corman was FBI Director Hayden Burke in Demme's film adaptation of the terrific Thomas Harris novel. Small world, huh?. Also of note, Angels Hard As They Come marks the screen debut of Gary Busey, who stars as the hippy, Henry - while in real life, he's an avid biker.

They do a beautiful duet in an old style recording booth - where soldiers would send nifty audio messages to friends and family back home.

18. Australian Girls give CPR

Description: LikeTelevision™ proudly presents another bizarre short video clip. This one features a group of lovely Australian lifeguards in 1960s skimpy bathing suits performing mass CPR on an eager group of young men (ooops - I thought they were Swedish... but they are Australian). For whatever reason - this looks like some kind of funky kissing contest. The best moment however is when one of the Australian lifeguards blows her breath in, then looks aside and listens for breathing. The angle of the shot makes it appear that she is staring at young man's speedo. HA!

19. Bad Taste

Description: The LikeTelevision™ movie channel presents a delightful horror classic from 1987 called Bad Taste, produced and directed by Peter Jackson, best known for his work on the JRR Tolkien movies, including the Lord of the Rings series and if fans get their wish, The Hobbit (though that looks bleak now). Well, long before Peter Jackson was a big cheese in film, he made this film with his school buddies over a four year period about a group of secret government agents in charge of keeping the world safe from invading aliens from distant galaxies. The budget for the film was next to nothing though it was a step up from a bunch of his previous efforts shot on 8mm film. Peter finally got a decent camera, a hand wound 16mm Bolex that was used for this movie and a little bit of money from a grant that helped him create more elaborate special effects.Bad Taste is an amazing movie - you can see the genius of Peter Jackson on display even as a young lad. He not only directed and produced this film, he even stars as young Derek, the courageous geek leader of the Alien Protection Squad who has to keep repacking his brains that have partially fallen out of his head.

If you want a fun, campy B movie - kinda like a “Key West Side Story“ with the Conks and The Greeks (instead of The Jets and The Sharks), and instead of musical numbers, you get underwater scenes with sponge divers. If that is what you are looking for - you have arrived!

26. Betty Boop - Baby Be Good

Description: LikeTelevision™ proudly presents - another Betty Boop classic cartoon, Baby Be Good. Betty is babysitting a naughty little boy who she admonishes and tells a tale of a Karma Meltdown. In a wild sequence of running the film backwards - all the wrongs get righted. Yeah - that's the ticket - nothing like reverse animation to fill up the minutes of a cartoon. Pretty cool all the same - i love the part where the kid covers a cat in toothpaste.

70. Day of Wrath

Description: LikeTelevision™ proudly presents - Vredens Dag, or Day of Wrath (1943), Carl Theodor Dreyer's pychodrama about witches, priests and passion set in 1600s. Lisbeth Movin plays Anne - a young woman in her twenties who got married to the priest in the village, Reverend Absalom - who is about 55 or 60. An amazing film about witches, burning at the stake, forced confessions, wild passion, and bad decisions. The cinematography is pure genius. Danish language film with English subtitles. We liked this movie

71. Death Ships of Dr. Fu Manchu, The

Description: The LikeTelevision™ classic tv channel proudly presents The Adventures of Dr. Fu Manchu - our first installment is an episode titled The Death Ships of Dr. Fu Manchu. The evil Doctor Fu Manchu is planning to cause total global chaos by unleashing a strain of deadly plague germs on the unsuspecting major cities of the world. But how will he transport these germs through customs you ask? Why inside some innocent looking melons that are part of the cargo of a ship. The authorities suspect some dangerous cargo, but have great trouble finding the deadly freight since they are hidden in plain sight. Glen Gordon plays the diabolical Dr. Fu Manchu - a non Asian actor who does his level to be Chinese. He delivers his lines in classic fashion, carefully choosing his phrases with very slow delivery as if he were some ancient Chinese Kung Fu master. Do your best to keep from laughing out loud - but you will fail, because it really is just too funny.

72. Despotism or Democracy?

Description: LikeTelevision™ proudly presents - Despotism. Here's a question for you - Despotism or Democracy? Which society do you live in? The film was originally created by Encyclopedia Britanica shortly after World War II (1945). We edited the original and trimmed down the total length to make it more enjoyable, and of course, more ironic - given the current world situation, with some oppressive regimes all over the place - and the potential for concern regarding the Patriot Act in the USA. As such - while the original content is quite dated - the metrics used to measure the freedom in a society, remain very valid. Check it out - i think you'll enjoy it.

73. Diaboliques, Les

Description: LikeTelevision™ proudly presents -Diabolique, directed by Henri-Georges Clouzo. This 1955 film remains one of the greatest murder mystery, suspense thrillers ever created. It won a special Edgar award in 1956 as well as honors for Best Foreign Film from the New York Critics Circle in 1955. Simone Signoret's performance is nothing short of amazing. My favorite comment on the movie - it is the greatest movie Hitchcock never made - and one can easily see the Sir Alfred style of suspense at work and perhaps Hitchcock got a few good ideas from this film as well.

77. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Description: LikeTelevision™ proudly presents the earliest film adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's literary classic, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This 1920 silent film stars the legendary John Barrymore (Drew Barrymore's grandfather) in the duel role of Dr. Henry Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Simply put - his performance is amazing. Martha Mansfield stars as the innocent Millicent Carew, the lovely daughter of Sir George Carew, played by Brandon Hurst. You can also watch Hurst in The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

78. Duck and Cover - Random's Re-Mix

Description: LikeTelevision™ proudly presents - a wonderful re-mix of the U.S. Government classic film - Duck and Cover. Yep - another gem from LikeTelevision's editing genius Frank Random, who combines footage from a variety of United States Civil Defense films from the 1950s and 1960s including the howler - Duck and Cover, where Burt the Turtle offers a great way to avoid getting hurt by a stray atomic bomb. Just duck and cover, yeah - that's the ticket. (We call this edited re-mix - Duck & Die). It has been too long since Stanley Kubrick's 1964 classic - Dr. Stranglove, or i learned to stop worrying and love the bomb - and so, if you find yourself all stressed out, we hope this funky short is the antidote to all your nuclear winters.

81. Evel Knievel

Description: LikeTelevision™ proudly presents - Evel Knievel starring George Hamilton as Evel Knievel and Sue Lyon as Linda Knievel. The movie originally aired as a made for TV movie in 1971 at the height of Evel Knievel's fame. While George Hamilton is an unlikely actor to play Evel, he does a decent job. And Sue Lyon, best known for her role as Lolita, the 16 year old vamp in Stanley Kubrick's classic take on the Vladmir Nabikoff novel - does a great job as Linda Knievel, wife and soulmate of the daredevil motorcycle hero. Much of the movie is filmed in Butte, Montana where Evel Knievel was born. Best of all - the film features some terrific archive footage of Evel Knievel, even the famed jump at Caesar's Palace, December 31, 1967 - which is one of the most spectacular wipeouts in his illustrious career as a daredevil motorcycle showman.

82. Farewell To Arms

Description: The LikeTelevision™ Movie channel proudly presents - A Farewell To Arms - with Gary Cooper and Helen Hayes. Based on the Hemingway novel, an American ambulance driver, Frederic Henry falls in love with English nurse, Catherine Barkley.

83. Fast and the Furious, The

Description: LikeTelevision™ proudly presents - the 1954 classic, The Fast and The Furious starring John Ireland and Dorothy Malone. This was the original film that started the series of movies with similar titles, most recently a decent Rob Cohen remake in 2001 starring Paul Walker and Vin Diesel and another offspring car happy film from the legendary John Singleton called 2 Fast 2 Furious, which also stars Paul Walker. But if the vintage and old school is your passion, nothing beats the original from the mid fifties. While the Jaguar XKE is nothing short of awesome, my favorite ride in this movie has got to the 1952 Allard J2X. Oh my... what a car and it even looks faster with the beautiful Dorothy Malone behind the wheel.

84. Floating Weeds - Ukigusa

Description: LikeTelevision™ proudly presents - Floating Weeds or Ukigusa which is the roginal Japanese title. This is one of acclaimed director Yasujiro Ozu's finest works. It tells the wonderful story of Komajuro Arashi, an aging master of a travelling Kabuke troupe that is hits the skids in a small Japanese towns. (or to coin a phrase from This is Spinal Tap - their appeal is becoming more selective). Master Komajuro wants to see his son, who has grown up since his last visit a decade ago and his aging mistress, Sumiko. Of course this angers his current flame, the top actress of the show. Like many a spurned women, she seeks vengence and the results are disastrous. This is a great story from one of the best directors of all time and while many people might prefer Ozu's Tokyo Monogatari, Floating Weeds is my personal favorite.

85. Forbidden Games (Jeux Interdits)

Description: The LikeTelevision™ movie channel presents a terrific 1952 classic called Jeux interdits, which roughly translates into Forbidden Games, the English title. The movie is set in France at the start of World War II. Brigitte Fossey plays the young Paulette, a 5 year old orphan who loses her parents as the family flees from the Nazis who are attacking Paris. They get killed by a Messerschmitt that strafes a bridge filled with civilians. Paulette get adopted by a sweet peasant family, the Dolles and she becomes good friends with their young boy about 7 or 8 named Michel Dolle (Georges Poujouly). The film tells an amazing story of the war as seen through the eyes of some beautiful children who are paying a dear price for the troubles of the world. We highly recommend this movie. Two thumbs up.

89. Get Christie Love

Description: Get Christie love - a 1970s funky action drama about a kick butt police woman, played by Teresa Graves is a classic, and has a spot in the history of movies. The movie morphed into a short-lived TV series of the same name and Teresa Graves was the first black woman on TV to star in an hour long show. By today's hypercritical PC insanity - this movie could be viewed as racist. There are some stereotyping incidents and other things that will make you roll your eyes - and yes - they use the N word. At the same time - Christie love is a heroine - and a tough, karate kicking Mamma Jamma. The TV show played opposite another classic female cop drama - Police Woman, starring Angie Dickinson. Lots of channel flipping times, yes they were.

90. Golden God of Dr. Fu Manchu, The

Description: The LikeTelevision™ classic tv channel proudly presents The Adventures of Dr. Fu Manchu - this episode titled The Golden God of Dr. Fu Manchu. The evil Doctor Fu Manchu is once again planning to take over the world, and his plan involves murder, while stealing a ton of gold. Then - cause global chaos as markets collapse. Wow - that kind of stuff seems like status quo today. This episode is more humorous than scary, you will enjoy the dialogue. Glen Gordon plays the diabolical Dr. Fu Manchu - a non Asian actor who does his level best to be Chinese. He delivers his lines in classic fashion, carefully choosing his phrases with very slow delivery as if he were some ancient Chinese Kung Fu master. Do your best to keep from laughing out loud - but you will fail, because it really is just too funny.

91. Good for the Goose

Description: LikeTelevision™ proudly presents - Good for the Goose, a short video clip of some women from Strausberg who are using a grinder to force feed some geese. Why you ask - well to make better Pate de Fois Gras of course. For those who are, shall we tres gauche - pate de fois gras is Goose liver pate, which sounds pretty gross, but is actually quite delicious. Anyway - I am sure the folks from P.E.T.A. (people for the ethical treatment of animals) are outraged by my lack of outrage, but i love pate de fois gras.... and escargot too. I think the snails are treated more ethically than say, live Maine lobsters - but I digress.

92. Gulliver's Travels

Description: This is an animation classic! Gulliver's Travels was released in 1939 for the big screen and is viewed as a must see classic! Snow White from Disney was released in 1937 and this was the answer from The Fleischer Brothers of Popeye, Superman, and Betty Boop fame! The animation is as good as it gets, so join Gabby and his Lilliputian friends as they deal with this huge giant named Gulliver. Of course this tale has been rewritten from Jonathan Swift's original masterpiece, and somehow mixed with a dash of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. If you get a chance, see the Gulliver remake with Ted Danson, very entertaining.

98. Harrad Experiment, The

Description: The Harrad Experiment, based on Robert Rimmer's sex manifesto of the same name, is a classic tale of how idiotic people were in the 1960s and 1970s. A group of college kids become laboratory rats to test and challenge basic notions of sex and marriage. The movie stars a very young Don Johnson, James Whitmore (best known as the Miracle Grow spokesman), and Tippi Hedren (who got her eyes pecked out in Hitchcock's The Birds - BTW, she looks better with her clothes on, and do not be frightened by her parachute sized underwear). Also stars Fred Willard as part of a comedy troup called The Ace Trucking Company. This is a very strange movie and you will shake your head, wondering - did people really believe this garbage?

99. Horror Hotel - City of the Dead

Description: The LikeTelevision™ movie channel is proud to present Horror Hotel, starring Christopher Lee, a legend in the horror genre. The film also introduces a new star - Venetia Stevenson as Nan Barlow, the young student who will get sacrificed in part 3. Well guess what - Venetia Stevenson is Don Everly's ex-wife, like Phil & Don, Bye, Bye love and Wake Up Little Susie. But wait - Don and Venetia's daughter married Axel Rose of Guns 'n Roses, so that makes her Axel's ex mother-in-law. (they got divorced). But I digress - Horror Hotel is a really creepy movie that is also funny at times because the acting is - shall we say - stiff.

100. Hot Rod Girl

Description: LikeTelevision™ proudly presents - Hot Rod Girl, a classic drag racing movie from the days of Old School. Starring Chuck Connors, best known for his role as Lucas McCain in The Rifleman, and Frank Gorsham, best known as the diabolical Riddler on the Batman TV show. Lori Nelson plays Lisa Vernon, the Hot Rod Girl, a young teenager who loves fast cars and the boys who drive them. The movie features some terrific shots of drag racing, muscle cars, and old school horsepower from the racetrack in California. You'll love the Hot Rod Girl's killer 1955 Ford T-Bird. Leo Gordon is credited with the screenplay.

101. House of Exorcism

Description: Elke Sommer wanders into the wrong place on a tour and gets possessed by the devil - who looks a lot like Telly Savalas. This movie is a more violent and disturbing re-edit of “Lisa and the Devil“. Coarse language, violence and nudity. Directed by Mario Bava. Rated “R“ for Randy.

102. House on Haunted Hill

Party guests include Richard Long of 77 Sunset Strip and The Big Valley fame and the consumate character actor Elisha Cook, Jr. The five diverse guests are each offered $10,000 if they can stay in the haunted mansion overnight. Replete with ghosts, ghouls, disembodied heads, a vat of acid, an organ that plays itself, murder, mayhem, screaming women and theramin music, this big screen classic of the 50's is an absolute must see. The kid reads Jack and the Beanstalk and Lou drifts off into a color dream.

110. Jackie Robinson Story

Description: The Jackie Robinson Story was made in 1950 and stars Jackie Robinson as himself. The story is an interesting commentary on race relations and the trials experienced by the Robinson family during this troubled period. By today's standards, the movie has several sections that are insulting and gratuitous - especially since this was a “feel good“ movie. Some of the historic footage of Ebbets Field and baseball are classic re-creations, made in the same period.

122. Last Man on Earth, The

Description: The Last Man on Earth was origianlly released in Italy as L'Ultimo uomo della Terra, and later redubbed in English as The Last Man on Earth. Starring Vincent Price, this is a terrific movie from 1964 based on Richard Matheson's classic Sc-Fi novel, I am Legend. A deadly virus (actually a bacillus, a rod shaped bacterium - like Bacillus anthracis, a.k.a. Anthrax) destroys most of the human population, turning people into horrible vampire zombie creatures who feed off of human blood. Vincent Price is a scientist trying to stay alive. He searches for a cure, destroys the monsters, and finds himself as the last real man on Earth. This film clearly inspired George Romero who directed the classic - Night of the Living Dead. In addition, Matheson's I am Legend was also the inspiration for Omega Man, with Charleton Heston. There is also a rumor of a remake of this classic, but the original will be hard to beat. We loved this film, and bet you will too!

123. Last Time I Saw Paris

Description: The LikeTelevision™ Movie channel proudly presents - Last Time I Saw Paris, starring Elizabeth Taylor, Van Johnson, Donna Reed, and Walter Pidgeon. A fun movie that appears to be based on the life of American novelist, F. Scott Fitzgerald, who wrote a bunch of terrific short stories (Diamond as Big as the Ritz is a personal favorite) but is best known for writing The Great Gatsby. The film is a loose adaptation of his time spent in Paris as a shallow rich guy searching for some meaning in his life. (I think it was Gertrude Stein, or Ernest Hemingway maybe... who coined the term - The Lost Generation, which spoke of these idle rich American artists who wasted their talents getting drunk and carousing in Paris).

Description: The LikeTelevision™ music channel is proud to present Terry Garlnd Live at LikeTelevision™. February 15,2007 was Terry's second time to play in our studios - the first was way back in 1998. Terry plays a mean National style o and a wicked Gibson L-0 (i think that's what is was anyway). For a slide - it looked like he was mostly using a spark plug socket wrench. If you like Delta Blues old school style, one guy pumping out a full band sound - you're going to love Terry Garland. This first song is called Without You and is features on Whistling in the Dark CD. I love the cool section where Terry played some rhythm guitar, sampled it and looped in back in so he could put a little wahine type slide lead over the top. Very cool indeed. I'm so blue... without you.

Lots of really cool period jazz music - though old blues eyes doesn't sing, he does play some terrible drums, especially when he's jones-ing in a cold turkey spasm. Also of note is Elmer Bernstein's really cool jazzy music, which helps drive the film's emotional rollercoaster.

145. Maybe I'll Come Home in the Spring

Description: LikeTelevision™ proudly presents - Maybe I'll Come Home in the Spring, a cult classic that helps understand tragic realities from the love Generation era starring Sally Field, David Carradine, Jackie Cooper, Eleanor Parker and Lane Bradbury. Dennie Miller (Sally Field) plays a sad young girl (yes... from a good home) who learns about life and the hippy peace & love myths the hard way. She returns home only to find her Mom and Dad making the same mistakes that helped encourage her to escape the suburban lifestyle still in force. Now it gets weirder - Victoria thinks she kills George by accident (trying to whack her husband on the head during a fight with George - she misses and hits George instead). 161. One Step Beyond - Night of April 14th

Description: This is a great One Step Beyond episode about the maiden voyage of the unsinkable Titanic, and a favorite of fans of this terrific Sci-Fi Tv show. A bride to be, played by Barbara Lord, has nightmares about drowning in icy waters. Her fiance, played by Patrick Macnee then tells her they will not honeymoon in Switzerland, but will take a cruise to New York on the Titanic. Patrick Macnee is best known for his role as Steed in The Avengers with Miss Emma Peel, played by enchanting Diana Rigg. Also of note - John Newland discusses a novel written by Morgan Robertson called Futility, written in 1898, 14 years before The Titanic sank. In the book, an unsinkable ship 800 feet long (Titanic was 882 feet) hits an iceberg and sinks. Both ships could go 25 knots, both carried around 3,000 passengers, and both sunk in April. Oddly enough - the ship in Robertson's novel was called the Titan. You also get some vintage special effects, that compared to James Cameron's 1997 movie look pretty lame, but for their day, these fx were the bomb! I prefer Macnee to Leonardo DiCaprio anyway. And Barbara Lord is very attractive, but Kate Winslet seems more compelling and lovely, probably because Lord is a bit whacko in this episode. This is a great episode - we should offer it as a download in the near future.

162. Only One Night

164. Outlaw, The

Description: Howard Hughes' production of The Outlaw is an interesting piece of film history for many reasons. While it was finished in 1940, it was dropped by 20th Century Fox due to critics' pans and the censors balking at Jane Russell's bulging cleavage. It seems Hughes Aircraft engineers even designed a special cantilevered bra to enhance Russell's attributes, long before her role in the Playtex cross your heart, lift and seperate bra commercials. (the gun control lobby today would be throwing fits, as Russell was packing a pair of 38s). In addition, famed director Howard Hawks was fired during production by Hughes, as there was some animosity between Russell and Hawks, and at the time, Russell was Howard Hughes' girlfriend.

165. Pajama Game

Description: The Pajama Game became the first in a string of smash hits for visionary choreographer Bob Fosse soon after it opened on Broadway in May of 1954. The play opened to rave reviews and was performed well over 1000 times. So when it came time to re-purpose it for the silver screen, Warner Bros. decided to basically lift the entire production from the stage at the St. James Theater and transport it to the sound stage in Hollywood. The female lead was changed from Janis Paige to Doris Day for box-office reasons and a couple of minor roles were switched out but, all-in-all what we see in the film is a faithful replication of the original Broadway production and a level of ensemble seldom seen on film. If you can stop being soooo sophisticated and are ready, willing and able to dispend reality for a little while, you will really enjoy this wonderful piece of period fluff.

Description: The LikeTelevision™ movie channel proudly presents - The Phantom of the Opera. This early silent film made in 1925 stars Lon Chaney as the Phantom, also known as Eric who is a musical genius, but alas - butt ugly. Unlike the 1962 version with Herbert Lom, we do not get any background as to what happened to Erik - that made him so disfigured. (In the 1962 version - he is burned in a fire by some chemicals as he tries to retrieve his stolen music from a shady publisher.) This is the first film version of the Gaston Leroux novel, so please don't expect anyone will break into song. This is not the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical version released in 2004. This film is perhaps Jean Renoir's finest work, though some might prefer his other masterpiece, La Grande Illusion, also available on this site. 228. Winky The Watchman

Description: This cartoon was made in the mid forties - and was probably sponsored by the American Dental Association. Basically, this animation is REALLY weird - and features some real world scenes at a dentist's office with some kids.. who tells them the story of Winky the Watchman, who is in charge of making sure the pillars are taken care of. (The pillars are a set of teeth). Also has some unintended racial stereotyping foolishness - which just makes it even more creepy... as the Good 'uns are white folks... and the Bad 'uns are black... who seem to speak in the ridiculous Steppin Fetchit manner, often prevelent in entertainment made in this period. If you like Dental humor - make sure you search for Dentist, and find a bunch more gems. If you liked this one... you'll love Dr. Barre - the hockey team dentist.

Wedding Bell Blues was released in October 1969 shortly after this special and stayed in the Top 40 for 14 weeks). Candace Bergen, best known for her role as Murphy Brown is Woody's special guest. And - oh my - what a treat - Reverend Billy Graham has a terrific interview with Woody Allen as they discuss God, sex and seeing each other's show. Billy says he'll go see Play it Again Sam if Woody goes to one of Billy Graham's revivals. It's an amazing bit of television history -and fascinatin given the events that followed the era of the sexual revoltion of the late 1960s.
