This Day in History - August 10th
Starring - Mother Teresa
Directed by - (2001) - Color - 1 min The LikeTelevision History channel proudly presents, This Day in History - August 10! (no idea why August 10 date is chosen). The Missionaries of Charity were founded by Mother Theresa, a Roman Catholic nun claimed, the sick and the dying have been made to forget that they are human beings. After seeing a penniless woman turned away by a Calcutta hospital, she left her convent to establish a home for the dying in Calcutta in 1948. It is the hungry Christ we are feeding she had said. The naked Christ, we are clothing. The homeless Christ, we shelter. (Nobel Peace Prize footage from 1979 ). For her, reverence for God was reverence for life. I cannot say anything that destroys life. It cannot be right. It cannot be right.
