Part one
A soldier (Jack Nicholson) from Napoleon's (Lieut. Andre Duvalier) army comes to a deserted castle and meets a strange woman (Sandra Knight) named Helene.

Part two
Lt. Andre wakes up and meets an old woman and and Gustaf (Jonathan Haze) who tells him there is no girl here. Andre goes out looking for the girl, finds her and gets a kiss. Gustav saves him from quicksand and tells him to see Baron Victor Frederick Von Leppe (Boris Karloff). Andre goes to the castle and meets the Baron.

Part three
Okay - Andre asks the Baron about the strange girl - the baron tells him there is no girl but a portrait of the Baron's wife looks just like her. She's been dead for 20 years. Andre pokes around the estate finding more clues about what's going on. We also meet the Baron's servant, Stefan played by Dick Miller.

Part four
Lt. Duvalier looks around some more - and we learn that the old lady (Dorothy Neumann) is the evil force behind what's going on. She uses witchcraft and calls on the dead... even uses hypnotism. (She's also Eric's Mom)

Part five
Lt Dulalier looks around some more - and we learn that Llsa was found with a lover named Eric and the Baron killed Isla while Stephan took care of Eric. Meanwhile - Andre is falling in love with Helene. He confronts the Baron and hears the voice from the ghost. Did the Baroness have a child?

Part six
Will the Baron get caught up in the old lady's trap? And can you believe it? Eric really killed the Baron - so Karloff is the lover, Eric not the Baron at all. Lots of great effects and horror in the big finish. See the conclusion and find out yourself.
